A complete toolkit for improving shoulder mobility, stability, and function.

Hello and welcome to the transformative journey of "Fix Your Shoulders 101"! I'm thrilled to be your guide on this exploration of shoulder health. In this initial lesson, we'll not only extend a warm welcome but also paint a vivid picture of what lies ahead.

Picture this course as a key—your key—to unlocking the potential for pain-free, strong, and mobile shoulders. As we embark on this adventure together, we'll navigate through the intricacies of shoulder anatomy, mobility, stability, strength, and overall function. But before we dive into the details, let's set the stage.

Hello from Dr. Jon

Functional Anatomy of the Shoulder

This part of the course is the meat and potatoes. It's a little technical, but the concepts are the most accurate and up-to-date in the physical medicine world. If you can dive into this part of the course and really understand these concepts, you will have the tools to create your own rehab protocols or at least be able to modify your current exercises to be more optimal.

Common shoulder pain syndromes

Gain insights into prevalent shoulder pain syndromes, their causes, and symptoms. This will set the foundation for understanding the challenges people face with shoulder pain or discomfort. By the end, you'll have a basic awareness of common issues we see in the office and how these injuries are caused by altered biomechanics and functional movements.

Rehabilitation Exercises

Our final module in this course we will cover a handful of the most common exercises Dr. Jon uses in office to help improve mechanics of the shoulder complex in order to improve funciton and decrease pain.

Conclusion

As we wrap up our introduction, you've taken the first step toward unlocking the full potential of your shoulders. The journey has just begun, and we're excited to dive deeper into the functional anatomy and movement in Module 2!
